Objective To understand the changes in postoperative functional exercise compliance in patients with cervical spondylosis and explore the influencing factors of functional exercise compliance was as the study subject. Methods A longitudinal survey was conducted from June 2021 to August 2022 at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University on patients who underwent elective cervical spine surgery. The functional exercise compliance of patients with cervical spondylosis after surgery was investigated every 3 weeks, for a continuous period of 30 weeks. At discharge, investigate and collect general information, surgical methods, fear of movement, personality traits, and self-control ability of patients. We draw a scatter plot based on the compliance status of functional exercise, calculate the overall compliance of functional exercise, and simulate the best fit curve. And single factor and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative functional exercise compliance in patients. Results A total of 96 patients with cervical spondylosis were surveyed and studied for 30 weeks. After 30 weeks of surgery, the average overall functional exercise compliance index of patients was 64.29±10.07,with 12 cases(12.50%)of complete compliance,61 cases(63.54%)of moderate compliance, and 23 cases(23.96%)of low compliance. At 30 weeks after surgery, the compliance of most patients with functional exercise was at a moderate level.Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in overall functional exercise compliance under factors such as education level, annual income, kinesiophobia, personality traits, and self-control(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the education level, annual income, kinesiophobia, personality traits and self-control ability were the influencing factors of functional exercise compliance in patients with cervical spondylosis after 30 weeks of surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion The functional exercise compliance of the cervical spondylosis patients surveyed within 30 weeks after surgery showed an overall moderate level of compliance, the education level, annual income, kinesiophobia, personality traits and self-control ability were the influencing factors of functional exercise compliance in patients with cervical spondylosis after 30 weeks of surgery.
