Objective To explore the effect of SHOW mode mindfulness meditation on postoperative negative emotions and quality of life in patients with thyroid cancer,and to provide scientific reference for the care of postoperative patients with thyroid cancer was as the study subject.Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent surgical treatment of thyroid cancer in the hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects.According to the principle of comparability of basic characteristics between groups,80 patients with thyroid cancer were divided into an observation group of 40 cases and a control group of 40 cases.Patients in the control group received routine postoperative care,while the observation group received routine postoperative care combined with mindfulness meditation intervention in the SHOW mode.The intervention time was from the day the patient was admitted to the day he was discharged.Within 1 to 2 days after admission,the patient filled in the general information questionnaire,self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),quality of life questionnaire(QLQ-C30)and nursing work satisfaction questionnaire,completed the first survey,and completed the first survey 3 months after discharge.The patient went to the hospital for review and completed a postoperative questionnaire to evaluate the patient's mental state,quality of life and satisfaction with nursing work.Results The SDS and SAS scores of the observation group after 3 months of intervention were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total average QLQ-C30 score and cognitive function,emotional function,role function,social function and physical function scores of the observation group after 3 months of intervention were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);satisfaction scores with nursing services of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Anxiety and depression were common in patients undergoing thyroid cancer surgery during the perioperative period.The implementation of post-SHOW model mindfulness meditation nursing can help improve the patients'psychological state,and the nursing measures are more personalized and targeted.It had good results when applied to patients after thyroid cancer surgery.,it was conducive to maintaining a good psychological state of patients,and has positive significance for the improvement and enhancement of quality of life.Patients were more satisfied with nursing services,which was conducive to improving the level of clinical nursing services.
