Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention model based on behavioural change theory in patients with cervical cancer surgical treatment. Methods 60 cases of cervical cancer surgery patients admitted to the hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 30 cases,in accordance with the principle that the basic characteristics of the groups were comparable. The control group carried out conventional nursing care, and the observation group adopted the nursing intervention model based on the theory of behavioural change.Cognitive behaviour, sexual quality of life, chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS),self-efficacy level scores, and satisfaction and adherence were compared between the two groups of patients before nursing intervention and 3 months after nursing intervention. Results Before nursing intervention, the comparison of cognitive behaviour, sexual quality of life,CFS and self-efficacy level scores of patients in the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 3 months of nursing intervention, the scores of cognitive behaviour, sexual desire, orgasm, sexual behaviour and sexual satisfaction of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of CFS in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),with statistically significant differences. The scores of self-responsibility,self-concept,health knowledge and self-care skills were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group for nursing methods, service attitude, nursing effect and the compliance rate in complying with medical treatment, complication prevention and rehabilitation exercise were higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention model based on behavioural change theory used in patients with cervical cancer surgical treatment can improve patients'cognitive behaviours, enhance sexual quality of life and self-efficacy level, reduce the degree of cancer-caused fatigue, and improve patients'nursing satisfaction and adherence.
