Clinical effects of precision nursing based on evidence-based concepts in the perioperative period of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation
Objective To explore the application effect of precision nursing based on the guidance of evidence-based concepts in the perioperative period of patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, aiming to provide a reference basis for more precise and efficient clinical intervention in surgical patients with this disease. Methods 300 patients with lumbar disc herniation admitted to the Department of Spine Surgery from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study object,150 patients admitted from January 2020 to June 2021 were included in the control group to adopt conventional nursing intervention.According to the principle of comparability of basic characteristics between groups, the 150 patients admitted from July 2021 to December 2022 were included in the observation group, and precision nursing care based on evidence-based conceptual support was implemented. Before and after the nursing intervention, the self-made perioperative self-care questionnaire for lumbar disc herniation and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)scale were used to assess the level of patients'self-care behaviors and lumbar spine function, respectively, the observing the incidence of patients'related complications, and referring to the Newcastle Nursing Care Satisfaction Scale(NSNS)to conduct a survey on the patients'satisfaction with nursing care. Results Before nursing intervention, the comparison of the dimensions of self-care behavior and JOA scores between the two groups of patients, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After nursing intervention, the scores of self-care behavior dimensions and JOA scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications of patients in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the degree of nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of precision nursing based on evidence-based concepts in the perioperative care of patients with lumbar disc herniation helps to improve the patients'self-care ability and lumbar spine function recovery effect, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients.
