Role of multidisciplinary collaboration model in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with respiratory failure
Objective To explore the effect of multidisciplinary collaboration model on the prognosis and quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)combined with respiratory failure. Methods 94 patients with COPD combined with respiratory failure admitted to the hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected for the study, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the principle of balanced and comparable basic data between the groups, with 47 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment, routine care and health education, and pulmonary rehabilitation guidance, while the observation group adopted a multidisciplinary collaborative care model, firstly forming a multidisciplinary collaborative team, with the team members checking the room together, and at the same time carrying out respiratory management, rehabilitation training, nutritional interventions, psychological interventions, health education and discharge guidance.Comparison of the two groups of patients before and after the intervention of pulmonary function indicators, nutrition and immune status, emotional status, treatment time, quality of life and relapse 3 months after discharge. Results After intervention, all pulmonary function indexes of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Serum total protein,albumin,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05),anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05).respiratory function recovery time,ICU stay time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention, the number of acute exacerbations in the observation group was lower than that of the control group in 3 months after discharge(P<0.05).The scores of quality of life in the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of multidisciplinary collaboration model for patients with COPD combined with respiratory failure can promote the recovery of respiratory function, improve the nutritional and immune status, alleviate the bad mood, correct the bad rehabilitation behavior, shorten the recovery time and hospitalization time, prevent recurrence of the disease, and improve the quality of life of the patients.
