Impact of operating room pathway nursing intervention on patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy for uterine fibroids
Objective To explore the effect of pathway nursing intervention in the operating room on patients undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy. Methods 216 cases of laparoscopic myomectomy patients admitted to the hospital from January to July 2022 were selected as the study object, they were divided into the control group and the observation group in accordance with the principle of balanced and comparable data between the groups, with 108 cases in each group, both groups of patients received conventional nursing care, and the patients in the observation group received the pathway nursing interventions in the operating room, and compared the negative emotions of the patients in the two groups.Comfort, stress response, postoperative recovery indicators, complication rate, nursing satisfaction, quality of life differences between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depressrion Scale(SDS),and General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05),and the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those of the control group and the scores of GCQ were higher than those of the control group after intervention(P<0.05);the differences in the scores of heart rate, cortisol, norepinephrine, and adrenaline of the patients of both groups before intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no difference in the scores of stress reaction indexes of the two groups before intervention. The difference in stress response indexes of the two groups before intervention was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the stress response indexes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 12 h postoperatively, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group's hospitalization time, the time of the first postoperative defecation, the time of the first postoperative out-of-bed activity, and the time of the recovery of the diet were shorter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after intervention. The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);all the scores of nursing satisfaction of the observation group were higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of the SF-36 Patient's Health Questionnaire(SF-36)of the two groups before the intervention(P>0.05),and all the scores of the SF-36 of the observation group were higher than that of the control group after the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic myomectomy patients receiving pathway nursing intervention in the operating room can keep a good and positive mindset throughout the perioperative period to ensure treatment comfort, and can stabilize the index of body stress, which is beneficial to postoperative recovery and control the incidence of postoperative complications.
