Application effect of health behavior education combined with psychological intervention in stomatology surgery patients
Objective To explore the effect of applying health behavior education combined with psychological intervention in patients undergoing oral implant surgery.Methods 115 elderly patients who underwent oral implant surgery in the hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study object,they were divided into 57 cases in the control group and 58 cases in the observation group according to the principle of matching the basic information between the groups,the control group implemented the routine perioperative care,the observation group implemented the health behavior education combined with psychological interventions on the basis of the control group,which is,in the patients'surgery preparation stage,intraoperative and postoperative combined with the psychological and behavioral characteristics of elderly patients to carry out psychological intervention to help elderly patients regulate negative emotions.Comparison of the two groups of patients before and after surgery with the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores,as well as before and after the care of dental implants cognitive situation,nursing satisfaction survey results.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the SAS scale score comparison between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05),the SAS scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group after care,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of oral hygiene knowledge,dental implant knowledge,and dental implant maintenance knowledge between the two groups before care(P>0.05).The observation group's oral hygiene knowledge,dental implant knowledge,and dental implant maintenance knowledge scores were higher than those of the control group after care,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of implementing health behavior education combined with psychological intervention can improve the psychological state of elderly dental implant patients,correct their adverse psychological emotions,and avoid negative emotions from having an adverse effect on their oral surgery,so as to guarantee the smooth implementation of the surgery.In addition,the implementation of health behavior education combined with psychological intervention can also enhance the patients'knowledge of dental implants and the level of oral health maintenance,which in turn improves the patients'compliance,and is conducive to improving the success rate of dental implants,and making the surgery more successful.In addition,carrying out health behavior education and psychological intervention also improves patients'understanding of dental implants and oral health maintenance level,and then improves patients'compliance,which is conducive to improving the success rate of dental implants,so as to ensure the effectiveness of the surgical treatment and avoid the influence of patients'personal behaviors.
