Application of NNN-Linked nursing model in family caregivers of Alzheimer's disease
Objective To explore the application effect of NNN-linked nursing model in family caregivers with Alzheimer's disease. Methods 96 cases of Alzheimer's disease patients admitted to the hospital from January to December 2021 and their 96 family caregivers were taken as the study subjects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the principle of comparability of basic characteristics between the groups, each with 48 patients and 48 caregivers in each group. In the control group, conventional nursing interventions were implemented for family caregivers, and in the observation group, the NNN-linked nursing model was implemented for family caregivers. The Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),daily living ability scale scores and family caregiver SCL-90 scores in each dimension and Family Caregiver Consequences Inventory(FCTI)scores in each dimension were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing intervention, the comparison of the scores of the dimensions of MMSE scale and the total scores of the two groups of patients was not statistically significant(P>0.05),after 6 months of nursing intervention, the scores of orientation, memory, calculation, concentration, recall, verbal ability and the total scores of MMSE scale of the patients of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing intervention, the comparison of daily living ability scores of patients in the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05),after 6 months of nursing intervention, the daily living ability scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before nursing intervention, the comparison of the scores of obsessive-compulsive,interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, depression, somatization, hostility, terror, paranoia, and psychoticism in the SCL-90 scale in family caregivers of the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),after 6 months of nursing intervention, the scores of all dimensions of the SCL-90 in the family caregivers of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and there was a statistical significance in the difference(P<0.05).Before the nursing intervention, the comparison of the FCTI scores of family caregivers of the two groups in each dimension was not statistically significant(P>0.05),after 6 months of nursing intervention, the scores of family caregivers of the observation group in the FCTI scale of adapting to the role of caregiving, dealing with personal emotions, resilience in order to provide assistance, adapting to the life to meet the needs of caregiving, and evaluating the family and community resources were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion NNN-linked care model could promote the physical and mental health of family caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's disease, improve caregiving ability, and thus improve patients'cognitive function and daily living ability.
