Assessment of nutritional status and analysis of influencing factors in non-acute stroke patients
Objective To explore the nutritional status of non-acute stroke patients in community rehabilitation hospitals, analyze the influencing factors of malnutrition, and treat malnutrition early to improve the clinical outcomes of patients. Methods A cross-sectional survey method was adopted to select 144 stroke patients admitted to a community rehabilitation hospital from March 2022 to April 2023 as the research subjects. The nutritional status of the patients was assessed within 48 hours of admission, and their nutritional status was collected.General information and laboratory examination data were analyzed using multi-factor regression to analyze the influencing factors of malnutrition. Results Among the 144 patients,93 were malnourished, and the incidence of malnutrition was 64.58%.Multivariate analysis showed that the age, gender, cognitive impairment, upper arm circumference, upper arm muscle circumference, and NRS-2002 score were independent factors that affected the occurrence of malnutrition in non-acute stroke patients in community rehabilitation hospitals, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of malnutrition and nutritional risks in non-acute stroke patients in community rehabilitation hospitals was high.Age,gender, cognitive impairment, upper arm circumference, upper arm muscle circumference, and NRS-2002 score were main factors that affected the occurrence of malnutrition in non-acute stroke patients in community rehabilitation hospitals. As the main factors,we should pay more attention to the nutritional status of rehabilitation patients, and intervene in the influencing factors of malnutrition in time and as early as possible to improve the patient's prognosis and improve the patient's quality of life.
