Application of doula accompaniment combined with free positioning in women with painless delivery
Objective To explore the application effect of doula accompaniment combined with free positioning in women with painless delivery. Methods To select 85 women who had painless delivery in the hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 as the research subjects, they were divided into a control group(n=42)and an observation group(n=43)according to the principle of balanced and comparable baseline data between groups. Both groups of mothers underwent painless delivery, the control group adopted conventional delivery methods, and the observation group adopted doula accompaniment and free position delivery on the basis of conventional delivery. The labor process, pain rating, psychological state, delivery self-efficacy,maternal and infant outcomes, and maternal satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The duration of the first stage of labor, second stage of labor, third stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the pain degree was lighter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the psychological state and delivery self-efficacy scores between the two groups before maternal care(P>0.05).After nursing, the self-rating depression scale(SDS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the self-efficacy expectations(EE-16),outcome-expectations(OE-16)and the short form of the Chinese-version Childbirth self-efficacy inventory(CBSEI-C32)scores were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The maternal satisfaction rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Doula accompaniment combined with free positioning can effectively shorten the labor process of women with painless delivery, reduce pain and negative emotions, enhance delivery self-efficacy,reduce the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes, and improve maternal satisfaction.
