Rehabilitation effect evaluation of finger exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine emotional care on stroke patients in the recovery period
Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of finger exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine emotional care on stroke patients in the recovery period, and to provide theoretical guidance for clinical nursing practice. Methods A total of 90 convalescent stroke patients in Ningjin County Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research subjects, according to the principle of balanced and comparable baseline data between groups, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine basic care, rehabilitation treatment and exercise, and complication prevention care, while the observation group was given finger exercise training combined with traditional Chinese medicine emotional care on the basis of the control group. Before the intervention and 2 weeks,4 weeks, and 8 weeks after the intervention, the modified Barthel Index Scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),and Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment were used to evaluate the daily living activities, anxiety scores, depression scores, and upper and lower limb motor function scores. The satisfaction scale was used to evaluate the nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients. Results After the intervention, the anxiety and depression scores of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the upper and lower limb motor function scores and Barthel index scores of the patients were higher than those in the control group.Compared the HAMA scores,HAMD scores,Fugl-Meyer scores and Barthel index of the two groups of patients, and found that there were statistically significant differences between groups,at different time points, and in the interactions between groups and different time points.(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Finger exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine emotional care can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of stroke patients, improve their self-care ability in daily life, promote the recovery of upper and lower limb functions, facilitate the early recovery of patients, and thereby improve patient satisfaction.
