The effect of O2O model combined with mind mapping on the effect of respiratory exercise in esophageal cancer radiotherapy patients
Objective To discuss the effect of O2O model combined with mind mapping on the health education of respiratory exercise for radiotherapy esophageal cancer patients.Methods 83 patients with esophageal cancer radiotherapy who visited Fujian Cancer Hospital from December 2021 to November 2022 were selected as the study subjects,they were divided into 41 cases in the observation group and 42 cases in the control group according to the principle of balanced and comparable baseline data between the groups,and the observation group implemented health education of Thinking Guiding Diagram in O2O mode.The control group implemented conventional health education.The accuracy of respiratory exercise,adherence to respiratory exercise,and quality of life scores before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups in week 1,week 4 and week 7 of the intervention.Results The breathing exercise accuracy scores of both groups showed an increasing trend with time(P＜0.05),the breathing exercise accuracy scores of the observation group were higher than the control group at the week 1,week 4 and week 7 of intervention(P＜0.05),the difference between the groups gradually increased with the prolongation of observation time(P＜0.05).The results of respiratory exercise compliance scores of patients in both groups showed an increasing trend with time(P＜0.05).The respiratory exercise compliance scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group at the week 1,week 4 and the week 7 of the intervention(P＜0.05),the difference between the groups showed the increase trend with the prolongation of the observation time(P＜0.05),the difference in the quality of survival before the intervention was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).After the intervention,all the functional domains and general health scores of the patients in the observation group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of the symptom domains and the 6 single domain scores of the observation group were lower than the control group,except for the 2 items of decreased appetite and diarrhea(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of mind map in O2O model to the health education of respiratory exercise for radiotherapy patients with esophageal cancer can help to improve the accuracy and compliance of respiratory exercise,promote health,and enhance the quality of life of patients.
