Research progress of integrated care and exercise intervention for disabled elderly
As the degree of aging in China continues to deepen, the proportion of disabled elderly people in the elderly population is also growing.According to the results of the fourth sample survey on the living conditions of urban and rural elderly people in China, the number of disabled elderly people in China is about 40 million, and it is expected that the number will reach 70 million by 2050,and the demand for care behind the growing number of disabled elderly people is huge.Currently, the forms of care for the disabled elderly include home, community and institutional care.Due to the constraints of primary medical development and traditional culture, home care is still the mainstream form of care for the disabled elderly in China. However, the family due to miniaturization, childlessness and other trends of its care function continues to weaken, and gradually towards the"poverty due to illness, due to poverty"predicament;community and institutional also during the same period due to charges, services and other reasons have shown more shortcomings,a large number of disabled elderly groups due to the long-term care needs of the unsatisfied social problems brought about by the country's medical care,The social problems caused by the unmet long-term care needs of a large group of disabled elderly people have brought about a certain impact on China's medical, pension and social security systems. At present, there is an urgent need to change the concept of care for the disabled elderly,to save the cost of care and community medical resources through the integration of care, and to enhance the intrinsic drive of the disabled elderly through exercise intervention,so as to solve this problem fundamentally. In this paper,we will review the current situation of integrated care and exercise intervention for the elderly with disabilities at home and abroad, and the current research status of the World Health Organization's Integrated Care and Elderly Program(ICOPE)guidelines, with the aim of providing theoretical references for the increasingly severe care dilemmas of the elderly with disabilities in China, and providing the basis for the national solution to the problem of the elderly with disabilities, and at the same time, attracting more scholars to pay attention to and devote themselves to the study of the field, and laying the groundwork for further breakthroughs and advances in the related fields. At the same time,it attracts more scholars to pay attention to and devote themselves to the research in this field, and lays the foundation for further breakthroughs and progress in related fields.
