Analysis of the intervention effect of 5E rehabilitation nursing on patients with comminuted patella fracture after surgery
Objective To study the application effect of education-encouragement-exercise-employment-evaluation(5E)based rehabilitation nursing in patients with comminuted patella fractures after surgery. Methods A total of 96 patients with comminuted patella fracture admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to June 2022 were selected.According to the principle of comparability in basic characteristics between groups, they were divided into a control group and an observation group with 48 cases each.Surgical treatment was administered to both groups, with the control group implemented routine nursing care, while the observation group implemented 5E-based rehabilitation nursing on the basis of the routine nursing. The differences in Generalized Anxiety Disorde-7(GAD-7)scores,Patient Health Questionnaire-9 items(PHQ-9)scores,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ)scores,Lysholm knee scores,HSS knee function scores, and the incidence of complications between the two groups of patients were compared. Results After four weeks of intervention, the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scores of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the positive coping scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and negative coping scores of patients were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the Lysholm and HSS scores of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of complications of patients in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The 5E-based rehabilitation nursing can alleviate the negative psychological state of patients with comminuted patella fractures, enhance their positive coping abilities, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve knee joint function.
