Construction of risk perception evaluation index for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To construct the risk perception evaluation index system for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus through the Delphi method, provide a theoretical basis for the development of risk perception scale for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus, and offer an assessment tool for medical personnel to conduct exploratory studies on the risk perception of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods From July to August 2022,the first draft of the risk perception evaluation index system for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus, formed through literature review and qualitative interviews, was subjected to two rounds of Delphi expert consultation involving 12 experts in the relevant field. The reliability of the consultation results was verified using expert positive coefficient, authority coefficient, and Kendall's coefficient of concordance. Results In the first round, the average scores for each index ranged from 4.25 to 5.00,with a coefficient of variation ranging from 0.00 to 0.26.In the second round, the average scores for each indicator ranged from 4.33 to 5.00,with a coefficient of variation ranging from 0.00 to 0.17.The expert positive coefficient in the first and the second round were both 100%,the authority coefficients were 0.83 and 0.86,and Kendall's coefficient of concordance were 0.143 and 0.163,respectively.After two rounds of expert consultation, the evaluation index system for risk perception in pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus comprising 6 first-level indexes and 41 second-level indexes was finally formed. Conclusion The risk perception evaluation index system for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus, constructed through Delphi method, has a certain degree of scientific validity and reliability, and can provide a reference for constructing the risk perception scale for pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus.
