Effects of scenario game nursing interventions on pain and compliance with venous indwelling needle puncture in children
Objective To explore the application effect of scenario game nursing intervention on pediatric venous indwelling needle puncture pain and the nursing compliance.Methods 96 children with pediatric venous indwelling needle aspiration from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the principle of comparable baseline data between groups,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was given routine care,and the observation group was given situational play nursing intervention on the base of control group.Adverse emotions scores.The screen for child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorder score pain at the time of puncture(modified facial expression pain scale score),pediatric puncturecompliance rate,one-time puncture success rate,incidence of adverse events,nurse-patient disputes,and family satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results After the nursing intervention,the adverse emotions and pain scores of the children in the observation group were lower than the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The puncture compliance,one-time puncture success rate and family satisfaction rate of children in the observation group were higher than the control group,while the incidence of adverse events and nurse-patient disputes in the observation group were lower than the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Scenario game nursing intervention could effectively reduce the bad emotions and pain during puncture of children with venous indwelling needles,thereby improving the puncture compliance of children,reducing the occurrence of puncture adverse events,and improving the success rate of disposable puncture and family satisfaction of children.
