Effect of visual trainning combined with behavioral intervention on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
Objective To discuss the effect of visual trainning combined with cognitive behavior intervention on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Methods 80 cases of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder treated in hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the principle of balanced and comparable baseline data between groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine specialist care, the observation group applied visual behavioral intervention combined with cognitive behavioral intervention on the basis of the control group.Parent Symptom Questionnaire(PSQ)scores,Integrated Visual And Auditory Continuous Performance Test(IVA-CPT)scores,and improvements in sleep status(total sleep time, sleep latency, sleep efficiency)were compared between the two groups before and after nursing intervention for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Results The PSQ score,IVA-CPT score and sleep quality level of children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in the two groups were not statistically significant compared with those in the control group(P>0.05).After 3 months of intervention, the PSQ score,IVA-CPT score and sleep status index of the children in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Visual behavior intervention combined with cognitive behavior intervention had a positive impact on the behavioral performance and attention improvement of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which could help children gradually establish good sleep habits and improve sleep problems,it is conducive to improving the quality of sleep of children and promoting the recovery of children.
