Literature on fear of falling during rehabilitation exercises in stroke patients with limb dysfunction in CNKI and Wanfang Data(full-text journals in digitized journal collections)were reviewed, summarizing the commonly used assessment tools, influencing factors, and corresponding nursing interventions measures for the fear of movement in stroke patients with limb dysfunction.Commonly used assessment tools include self-designed patient General Information Questionnaire, the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia, the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale, the Self-Perceived Burden Scale, and the Social Support Rating Scale.Factors influencing the fear of movement in stroke patients with limb dysfunction typically include age, history of falls, rehabilitation nursing education,Fugl-Meyer scale score, exercise self-efficacy,self-perceived burden, and social support.Specifically, stroke patients aged≥60 years, with a history of falls, lacking rehabilitation nursing education,Fugl-Meyer scale score<50 points, having low levels of exercise self-efficacy,moderate to high levels of self-perceived burden, and low levels of social support are more likely to develop fear of movement.Nursing staffshould, based on thorough assessment, provide targeted guidance to patients for gradual rehabilitation, helping them overcome their fear of movement, reduce the fear of falling, enhance confidence and courage in overcoming the disease, and maximize functional recovery of the body.
