Objective To explore the role of"Internet+"continuity of care in relieving the degree of cancer pain in elderly patients with advanced malignant tumours. Methods 82 patients with advanced malignant tumour admitted to the hospital from September 2020 to May 2022 were selected as study subjects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, each with 41 cases, according to the principle of balanced and comparable baseline data between the groups. The control group adopted conventional nursing intervention, while the observation group adopted"Internet+"continuity of care for 1 month. The General Well-Being Scale(GWB),Quality of Life in Cancer Scale(QLQ-C30)and Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)were used to assess the general well-being,quality of life and pain of the patients in the two groups before and after the intervention, respectively. Results Before intervention, the differences between the GWB scores and the scores of somatic function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function and social function in the QLQ-C30,as well as the NRS scores of cancer pain in the patients of both groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the intervention, the GWB score of patients in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the scores of somatic function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function and social function in the QLQ-C30 were higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the NRS scores of the patients with cancer pain were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion"Internet+"continuity of care in the care of patients with advanced tumours can improve their subjective sense of well-being and quality of survival, and relieve cancer pain.
