Application of BOPPPS combined with scenario simulation method in clinical nursing teaching of thoracic surgery with integrated ideology and politics theories teaching in all courses
Objective To explore the application of BOPPPS integrated with ideology and politics theories teaching in all course combined with scenario simulation method in the teaching of clinical nursing in thoracic surgery.Methods To select 76 clinical nursing interns in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2021 to January 2023 as the study subjects.According to the principle of comparability of baseline data between groups,the nursing interns were divided into the control group and the observation group with 38 cases in each group.The control group adopted traditional classroom teaching,and the observation group implemented BOPPPS integrated with ideology and politics theories teaching in all course scenario simulation method teaching.The assessment results,learning effort,learning pressure and fatigue,critical thinking ability,learning attitude and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of nursing interns were compared.Results After all courses,the scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),the scores of study engagement in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of learning stress and fatigue,the scores of exertion and excessive investment in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the scores of feedback were higher than those in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),the scores of critical thinking ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of nursing students'learning attitude and teaching satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of BOPPPS integrated with ideology and politics theories teaching in all course combined with scenario simulation method in thoracic surgery clinical nursing teaching could effectively improve the assessment results,learning effort and critical thinking ability of thoracic surgery nursing students,stimulate the learning interest and potential of interns,decrease their learning pressure and fatigue,strengthen the learning and mastering of the knowledge and skills of thoracic surgery clinical nursing,and the overall learning attitude and teaching satisfaction of nursing interns are high.
