Analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of fear of recurrence in patients who were re-implanted after the removal of the cardiac rhythm implantation device infection
Objective To investigate the current status of recurrence fear in patients with cardiac rhythm implantation device infection removed and analyze the related factors. Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,patients with reimplantation devices after cardiovascular implantation in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Nanjing Gulou Hospital were selected as the study subjects.Patients were surveyed using the general information questionnaire, the Fear of Progressive Disease Simplified Scale(FoP-Q-SF),the Simplified Disease Perception Questionnaire(BIPQ),and the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS).105 questionnaires were distributed, and 103 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery efficiency of 98.09%.Through univariate factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, the influencing factors of recurrence fear of patients with re-implanted devices after cardiac rhythm implantation device infection removal were analyzed. Results The total score of FoP-Q-SF in patients with reimplantation device after cardiac rhythm implantation device infection removal was 23.77±8.36 points, and the total score≥34 was 23 cases(22.33%).The physiological health dimension score was 11.95±3.49 points, and the social family dimension score was 11.13±4.81 points. The total score of BIPQ was 44.66±11.87 points, and the total score of SSRS was 39.31±9.68 points. The total FoP-Q-SF score was positively correlated with the BIPQ score(r=0.595,P<0.001)and negatively correlated with the SSRS score(r=-0.421,P<0.001)in patients with pacemaker re-implantation after cardiac implantation device infection removal.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that reimplantation device type,BIPQ total score, and SSRS total score were the influencing factors for fear of recurrence in patients with reimplanted pacemakers after cardiac rhythm implantation device infection removal(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with recurrent fear of infection after the removal of the cardiac rhythm implantation device have a high incidence of infection, and the overall level is moderate.Nurses should pay attention to the psychological condition of such patients and formulate corresponding interventions according to their influencing factors to help patients establish correct disease perception, improve the level of social support for patients, guide patients to effectively avoid infection factors, improve incision self-care skills, and effectively manage emotions to reduce their recurrent fear of infection.
