Effect of micro-video health education combined with multidisciplinary collaborative nursing in patients after gastric cancer surgery
Objective To explore the effect of micro-video health education combined with multidisciplinary collaborative nursing in patients after gastric cancer surgery. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent gastric cancer surgery in the oncology surgery of the hospital from June 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into an observation group and a control group, with 40 patients in each group, based on the principle of comparability of basic characteristics between the groups. The control group received routine guidance after surgery, while the observation group received micro-video health education combined with multidisciplinary collaborative nursing on the basis of the control group. The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Generic Quality of Life Inventory(GQOLI-74)scores were compared between the two groups of patients before and 1 week after nursing. Results Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in scores of VAS,HAMA,HAMD,PSQI and GQOLI-74 between the two groups(P>0.05).After 1 week of nursing, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the each dimension scores and total score of PSQI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the GQOLI-74 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of micro-video health education combined with multidisciplinary collaborative nursing in patients undergoing gastric cancer surgery can effectively alleviate postoperative pain, improve their negative emotions, and enhance their sleep quality, thereby further improving postoperative quality of life.
