Effect of customized care regimens based on appeals traceability on blood glucose levels and complications on diabetic patients
Objective To explore the impact of customized nursing programs based on appeals traceability on blood glucose levels,self-management ability levels, complication rates, and quality of life in diabetic patients. Methods 100 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in hospital from October 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the principle of matched of basic characteristics between groups, with 50 cases in each group. The patients in the control group followed the routine care method for type 2 diabetes. The patients in the observation group adopted a customized care plan based on appeals traceability to implement the intervention. The fasting blood glucose, postprandial 2 h blood glucose(2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C)level,self-management ability score, complication incidence, and Diabetes-Specific Quality of Life(DSQL)score were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results Comparison of blood glucose levels before nursing intervention in the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After the implementation of the customised nursing programme based on the traceability of claims in the patients of the observation group, all blood glucose levels were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison of the self-management ability scores of patients in the two groups before nursing intervention, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),the self-management ability scores of patients in the observation group after the implementation of the customised nursing programme based on the traceability of claims were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of diabetic retinopathy, diabetic foot, diabetic hypertonic coma and other complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group after the implementation of the customised care programme based on the traceability of claims, and the difference was statistically significant when compared(P<0.05).Comparison of physiological function, mental health, social relations, and treatment in the diabetes-specific quality of life scale before nursing intervention between the two groups of patients was not statistically significant(P>0.05);the scores of the dimensions in the diabetes-specific quality of life scale of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after the implementation of the care programme based on the traceability of the complaint, and the difference was statistically significant by comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention of customized nursing programs based on appeals traceability is conducive to patients to control their blood glucose levels, improve their self-management ability and quality of life, and reduce the incidence of complications.
