Eight compounds were isolated from the twigs of Macaranga henryi by repeated column chromatography over silica gel,Sephadex LH-20 and RP-18.On the basis of NMR and MS spectroscopic analysis,their structures were identified as 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (1),trigowiin A (2),daturadiol (3),methyl maslinate (4),3β-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-one (5),3β-hydroxystigmast-5,22-dien-7-one (6),stigmasta-3,5-dien-7-one (7),syringaresinol (8),respectively.Compound 5 was isolated fromthis plant for the first time and all the other compounds were obtained from this genus for the first time.
