Total synthesis of broussonin C with tyrosinase inhibitory activity and its structural simplification
Broussonin C is a 1,3-diarylpropane compound isolated from Broussonetia papyrifera, which has good tyrosinase in-hibitory activity.Using 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde as the starting material, broussonin C has been successfully synthesized in six steps, which achieves the first total synthesis of broussonin C.The method is easy to operate with high yield.Meanwhile,it was found that the compound with non-isopentenyl fragment has better activities, which effectively simplified its structure.
