Carbon footprint accounting method and case study analysis of crude oil pipeline industry
With the increasing global greenhouse gas emissions, various industries are using carbon dioxide emissions reduction as the focus of control, and crude oil pipeline industry enterprises are facing major challenges in carbon reduction.Carbon footprint accounting is an important link to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Its purpose is to calculate the total amount of carbon dioxide emissions produced in the whole value chain from production to recovery of product.Based on the definition and standards of carbon footprint, the carbon footprint accounting method of crude oil pipeline industry is proposed, and selected case studies are evaluated and analysed. Finally, suggestions are put forward for the low-carbon sustainable development of crude oil pipeline industry in China:improve the energy metering system, strengthen the management of key energy-consuming equipment, and introduce low-carbon processing facilities. The result can provide reference for the carbon footprint accouting of crude oil pipeline industry in the future.
