Development and application of wellbore temperature field distribution model after shut-in of deepwater buried hill test well
The pressure of Yongle 8-3 structure in the South China Sea shows a downward trend in the reservoir pressure recovery test. The key sections reflecting the seepage characteristics of reservoirs and fractures are absent, making it impossible to effectively evaluate the reservoirs using the test data.In this paper, the transient heat transfer model of wellbore and formation is developed to analyze the temperature field changes, especially at the pressure gauge location and the middle section of the formation after the well is shut in.Based on this temperature model, the pressure gauge data from the deepwater buried hill reservoir test are corrected, enabling effective evaluation of the shut-in pressure recovery data.By comparing the calculation results of the two wells, the error between the model calculation error and the measured value is less than 1%,verifying the accuracy of the model calculation results. The developed model of wellbore temperature field distribution after shut-in realizes the effective prediction of the temperature field in the test well of the deepwater buried hill reservoir, thereby providing a basis for the effective evaluation of the shut-in pressure recovery data.
