Abstract
An Yuankui is an important and notable prose writer in Guizhou, who has been probing the multi-directional dimensions of prose creation and whose proses distinctively embody the regional characteristics. His prose collection, River Water Boiling River Fish is a real and concrete reflection on the region of Gulongchuan, which convey his strong concern about the individual life, his thinking about human beings and nature, and his depiction on local places.
