The ShiQian Property Records is a property record written by Meng Jixun,the magistrate of Shiqian,Guizhou in the late Qing Dynasty.The book is divided into two parts:the first part records 374 types of products in Shiqian in 8 categories;The second part records medical notes such as 21 prescriptions.Although the whole book is short and limited in length,there is a north-south comparison,highlighting the regional culture of Shiqian,emphasizing the economic,medicinal,and daily use value of the products.Its historical sources include interviews and surveys,local chronicles,and common literary and medical classics.As a unique specialized chronicle of Guizhou during the Ming and Qing dynasties,it has excellent quality and spread the Shiqian culture,occupying a place in the development history of Guizhou documents.
