Exploration of Lenin's Socialist Transitional Thought at the Beginning of the October Revolution
There has always been controversy in the domestic academic community over whether Lenin's socialist transition thought at the beginning of the October Revolution was a direct transition or a gradual transition.Exploring Lenin's transitional thought during this period, there are attempts to directly transition to socialism by inheriting Marx and Engels'transitional theory.Constrained by the level of productivity development in Russia,Lenin proposed a gradual transition to socialism. From the analysis of Soviet construction practice, direct transition dominates.Due to the war environment at that time and the sharp class contradictions within Soviet Russia,Lenin's gradual transition plan was not successfully implemented. The coexistence of two transitional methods reflects the complex mirror image of Lenin's socialist transitional thought, rather than the academic debate on whether it is a direct or gradual transition.Lenin's difficult exploration of the basic principles of Marxism and the specific realities in Russia has important enlightening significance for the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which means combining the basic principles of Marxism with China's reality, continuously promoting the sinicization, modernization, and popularization of Marxism.
