The plant community species quantity trait and diversity analysis of the Karst mountain grassland
This study was conducted to investigate the community of the typical Karst mountain grassland community in Guizhou Province, which is contrary to quantitative characteristics of community, species traits, and Species richness, diversity index, evenness index trait in different altitudes and slopes using a standard plot survey way. The results show that: (1) The grassland plant community density increases significantly from lower to higher altitude in karst mountain (F=20.600; P≤0.01 ) . Heteropogon contortus (Poaceae) and Arthraxon lanceolatus (Poaceae) are dominated in quantity in the grassland community, and the population density of them show a trend of rising with the increasing of the altitude; however, the proportion density rate of Heteropogon contortus (Poaceae) in the grassland vegetation community show a decreasing trend while Arthraxon lanceolatus (Poaceae) on the contrary. (2) The grassland community in the karst mountain is determined by Gramineae, Compositae, Rosaceae, and Labiatae. The rate of Gramineae is increasing with the altitude upward while the other three on the contrary. (3)By analyzing the richness index of the grassland community increase gradually from lower to higher altitude in karst mountain. Besides, Peilow evenness index increase gradually and Simpson, Shannon-Wiener diversity index decrease first and then ascend.
