Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao completed a logical transformation during the process of establishing the Party,that is,the fundamental transcendence of the Communist Party of China(CPC)over the old political parties.At the logical starting point,the dramatic changes in the revolutionary landscape both domestically and internationally around the May Fourth Movement propelled them from democrats admiring the bourgeois political parties to Marxist exploring the establishment of proletarian political parties.In terms of logical development,they moved from dissecting the old parties,which were summoned by politicians,seeking private gain in a clumsy and weak manner,to constructing a precise and strong Marxist par-ty,built on scientific socialism,with the mission of transforming society and benefiting the people.In terms of logical purpose,they discarded the old parties that lacked ideological construction and were disorganized,and committed themselves to creating the CPC,which would be"socialism-oriented inside and outside"in terms of ideology,organization and style.
