Hu Shenrong was a renowned female poet during the middle of the Qing Dynasty,known along with her sisters Hu Shenyi and Hu Shenshu as the"Three Talented Women of the Hu Family".There have been many errors in the historical records regarding Hu Shenr-ong's family and life,and academic research on her has not been in-depth and comprehen-sive.Therefore,this article collects and examines the literature to outline Hu Shenrong's family background and life experience,connects her literary exchanges,and analyzes the ar-tistic features of her poems.Hu Shenrong,orphaned at an early age and constantly wander-ing in poverty,expressed her emotion and dreams through poetry.Due to her rich life expe-rience,she was able to step out of the boudoir,break through the traditional themes of fe-male poetry,sing of famous mountains and great rivers,and reflect on history.In her crea-tive philosophy,she practiced Wang Shizhen's"Spirit"theory and Jiang Shiquan's"True Feelings Through Naturalness"doctrine,resulting in both beautiful and majestic poetry with her unique style,which grants her a certain position in the history of female literature during the Qing Dynasty.
