The article elaborates on the characteristics and construction significance of new reading spaces,summarizes and analyzes the construction overview and main types of new reading spaces in China,and takes the Tianjin Binhai New Area Library as an example to propose the construction strategies of new reading spaces in public libraries:combine beauty and connotation,creating a new scene of immersive reading experience for the whole population;give full play to the advantages of characteristic libraries and expand new types of reading spaces with distinctive features;extend service tentacles and layout new reading spaces outside the library.
