This article cardings the development of urban libraries,analyzes the similarities and differences between urban libraries and traditional public libraries,and elaborates on the importance of urban library construction,and proposes the construction development strategies of urban libraries,which is government led improvement of relevant systems and norms,hierarchical construction with reader cultural needs as the core,adoption of various models to operate,strengthening the promotion and publicity,introducing social capital,widely absorbing volunteers and improving urban library check standards.
