Based on a typical case of the"Chinese traditional book sharing activity"initiated by the National Library,this paper analyzes the current situation and shortcomings of public library book sharing activities from the aspects of book sharing purpose,book sharing subject,book sharing form,book sharing scope,and book sharing connotation.It also proposes optimization strategies for public library book sharing activities from six aspects:forming growth mechanisms,deepening cultural and tourism integration,promoting diversified linkage,empowering the four media,expanding audience groups,and promoting overseas cooperation.
