The article sorts out the research and practical status of ancient book reading promotion in public libraries using literature research and online research.Based on the analysis of the guiding value of embodied cognition theory for ancient book reading promotion in public libraries,it proposes optimized paths for the ancient book reading promotion in public libraries.This includes constructing immersive promotion scenes through space reconstruction,designing multimodal interactive activities through formal innovation,presenting the value of ancient books in a three-dimensional way through resource development,personalized empowering embodied experience through special services,and achieving interactive value recognition through emotional support.
