This article takes the"Double First-class"university libraries as the survey object,analyzes the practice status and existing problems of red reading promotion,constructs a logical framework for red reading promotion from the perspective of the metaverse in university libraries,sorts out the ideas and proposes paths for the digital transformation of red reading promotion in university libraries from the perspective of the metaverse,namely,improving the digital reading ecosystem and forming a closed loop of red culture and national reading;improving the efficiency of using reading media and broadening the ways for disseminating red culture;crossing border cooperation in promoting digital reading and establishing a multi-channel dissemination mechanism for red culture.
