Content and carrier are important criteria for classifying resource types and are of great significance for identifying resources.RDA attaches great importance to the division of resource content and carrier type.On the basis of inheriting the original rules,the new RDA emphasizes the compilation basis of RDA content and carrier type terms,expands the resource content and carrier type,adds the"extension plan"element,clarifies the method and process of submitting new content and carrier type terms in RDA,and highlights the scalability of RDA.
