本文针对"21天阅读习惯养成"成为图书馆热门阅读推广活动的现象,对其所依据的"21天习惯养成"进行了追根溯源.通过文献溯源查证了"21天习惯养成"的观点来源于马尔茨的《心理控制术》(Psycho-Cybernetics),认为目前网络上流行的"坚持21天就能养成一个新习惯"与马尔茨的"一个新的心理意象定型至少需要21天"存在认知偏差.对高校21天阅读习惯养成活动进行了归类对比分析,并对图书馆阅读推广工作提出思考和建议.
21-Day Reading Habit Cultivation:Tracing the Source and Reflections on the Practice
This paper traces back the source of the"21-Day Habit Cultivation"trend,as it has become a popular reading promotion activity in libraries.Through literature retrospective,we found that the idea of"21-day Habit Cultivation"originated from Maltz's Psycho-Cybernetics.There is a cognitive bias between the popular belief in"persist for 21 days to form a new habit"and Maltz's"it requires a minimum of about 21 days for a new mental image to jell".The study also provides a comparative analysis of 21-day reading habit cultivation activities and offers thoughts and suggestions on library's reading promotion.
