Interpretation and Analysis of A National Advocacy Framework for Open Educational Resources in Canada
A National Advocacy Framework for Open Educational Resources in Canada(Referred to as the Framework)was released in May 2023,which is Canada's first open education policy on federal level.The Framework is divided into six sections with five appendices,focusing on Francophone OER,Indigenous OER and Pan-Canadian OER.The core key issues of the Framework are the construction entity,financial guarantee,infrastructure support and accessibility.Promoting the introduction of national OER policies and establishing an OER policy system,stimulating the main consciousness of OER construction in academic libraries and leading the development of OER,focusing on the core issues of OER policies and building distinctive OER resources—all of these are the enlightenment of the Framework for China.
