A Study on Zhu Ren and Shanghai Private United Library
The Shanghai Private United Library is very important in the history of modem Chinese libraries.Zhu Ren participated in the construction of this library and witnessed a lot of historical events.Based on the Diary of Lawyer Zhu Ren,which had not been fully reviewed before,the author interviewed the descendants of Zhu Ren,conducted a study on his education and work experience,clarified the main reason why he joined the United Library,and revealed his friendship with Ye Jingkui and Gu Tinglong,as well as describing his role in the United Library,so as to show some historical scenes,reveal the main contribution of Zhu Ren and the experience of the United Library development,as well as enriching studies on the history of the United Library and the history of Ye Jingkui and Gu Tinglong.
