A Study of Digital Reading Promotion Programs for Minors in German Public Libraries and Implications
The article investigates and analyses the current situation of digital reading promotion projects for minors in German public libraries,so as to provide a reference for China's public libraries to carry out digital reading promotion services.Using the network survey and case study,15 German municipal public libraries are selected as the survey object to discuss the overview,types,characteristics,experiences and other dimensions of the project.The digital reading promotion programs for minors in German public libraries are centered on four themes:"digital curriculum training","digital innovation practice","digital questions and answers"and"digital safety prevention".It is characterized by advanced promotion concept,perfect promotion structure and rich promotion content.It is suggested that our public libraries should pay attention to minors and innovate the concept of promotional services when carrying out digital reading promotion;implement it in an all-round and multi-angle way to improve the structure of promotional services;and follow the pace of the digital era to expand the content of promotional services.
