Leading Professionalization with People-Oriented Principle:Exploration of Promoting High-Quality Development in Dongguan Library Practice
[Purpose/Significance]Taking Dongguan Library as a case,this paper explores the mode of leading the professional development of libraries with people-oriented principle,which provides a path reference for promoting high-quality development of the library industry.[Design/Methodology]The article conducts a survey on the practice of Dongguan Library,and combines with A Library's Exploration of Professional Development,explores the fundamental problem of high-quality development of libraries,which is to adhere to the principle of leading professional development with people-oriented principle,and demonstrates the role and responsibility of libraries.[Findings/Conclusion]The library professionalization should adhere to the principle of the subjectivity of the people,and enhance the development level of the library from three aspects:librarian team professionalization,core business professionalization and industry specialization,so as to promote the high-quality development of library business.[Originality/Value]This article analyzes the professional development practice of Dongguan Library,and provides reference for the professional development of public libraries in China.
