On the Historical Logic of the Chinese Communist Party in Promoting and Expanding Chinese-Style Modernization
The spirit of historical initiative is a spiritual quality formed by the Party in the process of leading the people to consciously and dynamically transform social history,which is mainly manifested in the explora-tion of a distinctive path that conforms to China's national conditions with a high degree of historical self-con-sciousness,firm historical self-confidence,and strengthened historical responsibility on the basis of practice.In the century-long process of modernization,the Party has united and led the people of all nationalities to fully carry forward the spirit of initiative,and has linked up a whole historical logic of promoting and expan-ding Chinese-style modernization by taking enhanced historical consciousness as the logical premise of see-king a Chinese-style modernization path,firm historical self-confidence as the logical requirement of explo-ring a Chinese-style modernization path,and strengthened historical responsibility as the logical path of pro-moting and expanding a Chinese-style modernization path.In this way,we have successfully opened up a new path of Chinese-style modernization,created a new form of human civilization,and are marching forward towards the realization of a better picture of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
