Yu Hua and Can Xue are not only famous pioneer novel writers,but also important writers in the Chinese literary world since the new period.In their pioneering experiments,each of them has flaunted their own writing flags,making China's modern narrative almost reach its peak.There are many similarities between the two writers'pioneer novels,both of them being influenced by Kafka and focusing on the shaping of forms,and both of them obsessively pursuing reality and immersing themselves in the writing of destiny.Comparing the creations of Yu Hua and Can Xue in terms of image,theme and language,we will find that each of them has found a suitable path for their own creations.Comparing the two and examining their narrative strategies is conducive to a more in-depth understanding of the aesthetic value and narrative perspective of pioneer no-vels.
