The Investigation on the Newly Unearthed Epitaph of Li Shu and His Wife in the Tang Dynasty
In recent years,the newly unearthed epitaph of Li Shu and his wife in the Tang Dynasty records in detail the personal life and experience of Li Shu and his wife,supplementing the historical information of the Li family of Zhao County.The information of Li Shu and his wife contained in the epitaph text plays an impor-tant role in the correction of The New Tang History Book-Prime Minister Lineage Table and the supplement of The Dengke Ji Kao.The combination of heirloom documents and the epitaph of Li Shu and his wife can en-rich the study of Li Hua,the pioneer of shogunate literature and the classical literary movement.Li Hua's wife was from the Zheng Yuqing family in Xingyang,and the newly published epitaph also provided new material for the marriage research of the Zheng Yuqing family of the Middle Tang Dynasty.
