Eco-discourse Analysis of Mount Tai Scenic Tourism Text from the Perspective of Appreciation System
Based on the appreciation subsystem of appraisal theory and the human-oriented harmonious eco-philosophy proposed by Huang Guowen,this paper,which adopts the approach of being qualitative and quan-titative,presents the eco-discourse analysis of Mount Tai tourism texts and explores the eco-philosophical views contained in texts.It is found that there are abundant semantic resources of appreciation in terms of in-scribed and invoked evaluation in the tourism texts of Mount Tai scenic spot,most of which are of reaction and valuation,less of composition.The eco-discourse analysis,based on the appreciation subsystem of appraisal theory,highlights the human-oriented ecological view and the thought of harmonious development between human and nature,shows the eco-philosophical thought contained in the tourism text,and further demon-strates the concept of being ecological and harmonious in terms of the linguistic dimension.
