Research on the Historical Development of Interdisciplinary Thematic Teaching from the Perspective of Cultivating Top Innovative Talents in Basic Education
Promoting goal literacy,curriculum integration,and teaching life based on interdisciplinary thematic teaching is an important measure and key link in the current education and teaching reform in various coun-tries.However,with precise goals,subject specific courses,and separate teaching becoming the norm in the implementation and evaluation of education and teaching in various countries,effectively implementing inter-disciplinary thematic teaching is not an easy task.Learning history can provide a clear lesson.By tracing the development history of interdisciplinary thematic teaching concepts and practices worldwide,it can be found that interdisciplinary thematic teaching has mainly gone through three stages:dormant in the embryonic stage of curriculum integration,reflected in the exploration period of comprehensive learning,and flourishing in the development period of core literacy.In the century long process of shaping and developing interdisciplinary thematic teaching,countries have accumulated a large amount of ideas and practical experience in carrying out interdisciplinary thematic teaching.Actively drawing on and learning from these experiences is a valuable re-source to help solve the current problems of interdisciplinary thematic teaching in various countries.
