A Brief Discussion of Deng Xiaoping's Three Important Talks
Deng Xiaoping published three important talks in the twenty years from his third comeback to his death.The Northern Talk in 1978 ignited the three fires of"re-establishing the ideological line of Marxism","developing social productive forces and improving people's livelihood"and"opening up to the outside world,invigorating internally and carrying out reform".In the southern talk in 1992,the idea of"developing market economy and moving forward along the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics"achieved a new break-through in the process of Chinese modernization,created a new situation in China's economic,political and cultural development,and historically developed Marxism.The talk from 1992 to 1993 clarified that"solving the problem of wealth distribution in China has been put on the agenda","solving the problem of distribution is facing great difficulties"and"the emergence of the gap between the rich and the poor has its inevitability,so we should do everything possible to solve it".These three talks are of great significance in promoting China's social progress.
